Lesson 1. “Come Unto Christ This Christmas” Use these posters with the lesson 1. Opening Thought/Scripture (5 min) Read Luke 2:10–11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Ask: Why do you think the angels called it “good tidings of great joy” for “all people”? 2. Activity with Posters (15 min) Hold up the Nativity side of the poster. Ask: What does this picture remind you about the beginning of Christ’s life? Why is His humble birth significant for us today? Then hold up the side with Christ reaching out His hand.  Ask: What does this image teach about who Jesus is now? How does this connect to the baby in the manger? Emphasize that Christ came not just to be born, but to reach out to us, lift us, and save us. Christmas is about His invitation to “come unto me.” 3.
